The ADR Institute of Manitoba and its members use a variety of professional Rules, Codes and policies to help guide our work.

Arbitration Rules

The ADR Institute of Manitoba recommends the “ADRIC Arbitration Rules” of the ADR Institute of Canada. To view the ADRIC Arbitration Rules, click here.

National Mediation Rules

The ADR Institute of Manitoba recommends the National Mediation Rules of the ADR Institute of Canada. To view the National Mediation Rules, click here.

Code of Ethics

The ADR Institute of Manitoba has adopted the Code of Ethics of our national organization, ADR Institute of Canada. To view the Code of Ethics, please click here.

Code of Conduct

The ADR Institute of Manitoba follows the ADR Institute of Canada’s Code of Conduct.  Institute members are held accountable to practice standards that include a Mediator’s Code of Conduct and a National Code of Ethics.

In effect, the Institute provides an infrastructure that allows ADR practitioner-members to be self-regulating professionals and gives the public confidence in their professionalism.

Complaints Policy

If a member of the Institute or a member of the public has a complaint regarding a member of the ADR Institute of Manitoba,  he or she is requested to submit the complaint in writing to the Institute.  The complaint will be directed to the President for follow-up.  Please submit to: admin@adrmanitoba.ca
