Kasia is a lawyer and works as a Provincial Medical Contracts Specialist at Shared Health. She was called to the bar in 2020 and practices in the areas of contracts law and employment and labour law. Kasia was born and raised in Winnipeg and received her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Manitoba. Currently, she is a part-time student in the joint Master of Public Administration program through the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg.

Kasia has training mediation and arbitration and received her Qualified Arbitrator designation in 2017. She also has a Mediation Skills certificate from Mediation Services Winnipeg. Kasia is a board member with Mediation Services and volunteers in its victim offender mediation program, where she mentors new mediators.
