Jennifer L. Schulz (Moderator) is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg and a Fellow of the Winkler Institute for Dispute Resolution at Osgoode Hall Law School, Toronto. She has been a practicing mediator since 1995. Dr. Schulz’s mediation practice, in Winnipeg, Toronto, and online, focuses on sports, insurance, contract, and workplace disputes. In addition to the SDRCC, she mediates for Sport Manitoba, the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program, Mutual Insurance Companies OmbudService, the Automobile Injury Mediation Program, and privately. She has taught mediation at Osgoode Hall, U of M, and the University of Windsor, and has been a visiting mediation scholar at Osgoode Hall; UBC, U of T; U of Cambridge; U of London; and Harvard. She is certified as a Chartered Mediator by the ADR Institute of Canada and is fully insured.
Kasia is a lawyer and mediator. She received her Juris Doctor degree and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba. Kasia also has a Master in Public Administration degree from the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg. Kasia completed the National Introductory Arbitration Course through ADRIM in 2016. She completed certificates in Mediation Skills and Conflict Management Skills through Mediation Services.
Matthew Lawrence (Panelist) As a mediator, Mr. Lawrence has mediated both interpersonal as well as large group conflicts. He has conducted over 200 conflict resolution processes in the last 15 years, specifically related to workplace conflict as well as insurance claims, community disputes and criminal matters. He was a mediator in the Court Diversion Project, a joint venture between Mediation Services and Manitoba Justice. He has provided mediation services on contract for the Manitoba Human Rights Commission, the Canadian Human Rights Commission and Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation. Matthew Lawrence is a Chartered Mediator with the ADR Institute of Canada and is also certified internationally through the International Mediation Institute (IMI). Mr. Lawrence is a certified Conflict Coach and is also trained in Conflict Dynamics Profile assessment. He has a BA (Honours) degree from the University of Winnipeg and has a Diploma from Mediation Services of Winnipeg in Conflict Resolution.
Nicole Robidoux is a Chartered mediator with ADRIM and has been a practicing mediator since 2010. Her background includes working with youth at risk, families, group facilitation, victim-offender mediation, workplace, and community conflicts. She is currently a workplace mediator in the federal sector and has a private practice in family mediation.
Her passion in this work comes from helping others to work through their conflicts and creating space to learn new skills through the process which provides lasting impacts in future relationships.
